A hardy evergreen perennial 2-3ft tall which
must have good drainage and prefers full sun.
The purple-blue flowers are loved by the bees.
The strong, distinctive flavour means it
should be used sparingly in cooking for egg and cheese dishes,
herb breads and butters.
Has many medicinal uses.
